PSP4H and Pharmnet presented at the health session entitled “In Sickness and In Health: Evolution, Current Practice and Gaps in Facilitated Health Service Provision” at the The BEAM Exchange Conference in Lusaka, Zambia on 20 May 2016. The conference brought together over 200 international participants from organisations using a market systems approach to their programmes.
Pharmnet features in the story “Pharmacies bet on joint branding to lock out rogue firms” in The Standard, Kenya’s biggest national daily newspaper, published 28th December 2015. The associated editorial “End fake drugs pandemic” on 29th December 2015 refers to Pharmnet as “a new bold step that might go a long way in saving Kenyans’ lives”.
Unilever and Pharmnet signed an MOU on 4th December 2015 in Nairobi, making PureIt water purifiers and Unilever personal care products available to all Pharmnet outlets in Kenya.
Pharmnet held a Members’ Conference on the 4th December at 680 Hotel in Nairobi with 200 members from across Kenya in attendance. Board members later held their annual Strategic Planning Workshop on 4th-5th December at the Lenana Conference Centre.

Pharmnet participated in and exhibited at Business Call to Action’s Sixth Annual Forum in New York City on 24th September, in conjunction with the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly and the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
